11 months

Someone please stop making time go by SO fast. I honestly cannot believe that Bitty #2 is 11 months today. Instead of being excited about planning a party, I am somewhat dreading it. I don't know why....I think it is because I love this age. She interacts so well, is loving, cuddly, and somewhat stationary. (Crawls everywhere, but is not really standing or pulling up, so I consider that, well, easy compared to what is coming) I guess I can wait before she starts talking(back), walking, and giving me attitude. (Much like my soon-to-be 5 year old). This age just doesn't last long enough.
Last I checked she is well over 22lbs, I have no idea about height/or head, but I'm sure both are above 50%.
She has a total of 4 teeth, 2 top and 2 bottom. She eats, and eats, and eats. Lil darlin, I'm not quite sure where she puts it all. She is still napping 3-4 hours a day (HOORAY). I didn't really know what it was to have a napper in the house, but now I do and it is very nice.
Overall, she is a laid back lil babe. Teething, however, tends to make her act more like a bear then a babe, but thankfully it doens't last forever. So heres to cupcakes, party hats & streamers. I guess we'll be having a party soon!

Oh so sweet
or not!

Of course it wouldn't be a complete monthday post without a pouty sister picture

Chelsea Baby Review & Giveaway

I had the privilege of receiving these shoes last week in the mail from Chelsea Baby. Chelsea Baby is a small (for now, probably won't last long) company based out of MN. (Even better, I love the midwest) Before I even got them I was super excited about them.

Each shoe is HANDCRAFTED! They are made out of "Sensuede" which is a luxury suede made completely out of recycled material. So heres to 100% green shoes! Not only are they are so darn cute, but also so very original. I love the use of different colors and ribbons. And the ribbons are inter-changable! For girls, they have tulle/ribbon bouquets, and for boys, snap-on ribbon bow ties. {Not going to lie, I really  really like the little boy shoes.} Not only are the shoes coordinating, but you can switch out ribbons to match out fits! (can it get any better?) Once I recieved the shoes I was highly impressed with the quality and workmanship of the shoe itself. They seem to be incredibly durable and able to withstand the wear of bitty feet. These shoes are currently available in 0-6months and 6-12months. I was able to put the 0-6month shoes on Bitty #2, but they were a tad bit on the small side. I would say you would probably have a month or two on either side of this.

SO, Chelsea Baby has graciously offered to giveaway one pair of shoes to my readers, YOU ALL! (They will be size 0-6months, so keep that in mind)

It only takes ONE comment TO ENTER: (Include that you have done all of these in your comment)

1. Become a public follower of The Bri Hive
2. Visit Chelsea Baby and tell me your favorite shoes

Giveaway will end 3/30 @ Midnight MST. I recieved shoes from Chelsea Baby but was not compensated in any other way for writing this review. All opinions and thoughts are solely my own and based on my personal review of the shoes :)

Body by Bob AND Jillian

I am invested in the next 30 days. So much so that I have joined JillianMichaels.com and boy am I glad I did! It is an awesome resource! It has a meal planner (so much of what I dread is deciding what to make) and a built in grocery list. So far I have fixed two meals (dinners) the past to days and I have to say it is some yummy food. It is also getting raves from the Hubbee....
Last night was Steak, potatoes and peppers on the grill

Tonight was Jalapeno lime chicken with mexican cole slaw and easy black beans.

AMAZING! I love to cook healthy and use fresh ingredients, but I really don't know how to. So using this guide as my reference is awesome. Hopefully I will pick up on some tricks and ways to integrate fresh food into all of my cooking, long after Jillian Michaels has left the building. (as in, our home by way of my computer) I won't be paying for her forever.
Anyways, with the help of Bob AND Jillian, I am hoping to be nice and svelte by the Wedding.
(Wednesday is my work-out weight loss update, I haven't stepped on a scale since last time, so I am anxious to see, if any, the results)
Stay tuned!

Pics

So here are some belated monthday pics of bitty. We were back to the Dr. this morning because she had more goop in her eyes. Dr. said she has bad sinus congestion and its backing up in her eyes. Ears looked great though! She completed her antibiotic last Friday, so we are starting a new one today. She will probably have all the same issues as Bitty #1 with all the sinus/ear  infections etc. Probably will end up having to do the tubes with her as well....
This weekend was busy/fun/tiring. I guess I started it out tired because of working so much lately. The shower went great and I am trying to get ahold of some pics (my camera battery died...I know, I was so prepared) Ha.
Here are a few pics :)

Here is Bitty #1 being dramatic...how dare it not be all about her?

Body by Bob

2 days down....28 to go.
Ha ha. We shall see. So I have this small event coming up in a few months, to which I am wearing a strapless gown. Hmm. I see a few problems with that, but I suppose that would be some of my motivation to finally buckling down and starting a workout routine. I am not going into the million and one reasons why it is difficult for me to find time to work out, because I am sure most of you are mothers and hence there is no explanation needed. (at least there shouldn't be)
I have found in the past that workout DVDs work well for me because I can pop them in when I have a half hour or so and be done with a complete workout. (If you have never done a Biggest Loser DVD workout, then you may be laughing at the word complete, so I challenge you to do one without breaking a sweat). Now the tricky part is just sticking with it for the next 28 days. I have challenged myseft to be faithful and complete Jillian Micheals 30 Shred...The only thing is, I know that I get bored doing the same workout day after day, so I am also throwing in Bobs Weight Loss Yoga and Biggest Loser Bootcamp workout dvds. But my goal is to finish out 30 days of a workout regimen. I plan/want to work out 5-6 days out of the week, and am counting only the days I work out. So it should take me about 6 weeks...
I am going to post my weightloss ::Gasp:: I know, very personal. (I'm talking about for me, I don't usually share these sort of things) But, I won't be sharing my weight, just my weightloss.
So right now, I have lost 0 pounds
Hope fully next time I post I can share a weightloss with you! (even if it is only 0.5lbs) I figure this has got to keep me motivated right?
My main goal is not really to drop a lot of weitght per say, I just want to get rid of the jiggles and love handles. Ok, reduce them. All together vanishing is just not going to happen. But I would like my arms NOT to wave like the American Flag in my strapless dress. The End.
