Bitty's Birthday/Monthday

Bitty #2 is ONE year old!  My....wait for it, I can't believe it!
We had her check up on Monday.
She is 21.5lbs
She is 29 1/2 inches
And she has a big head. I'm  not sure the measurements, but it was the 80th percentile while the others were 50th and 60th
She is speed crawling everywhere, pulling herself up on furniture, and just starting to move around things a little. Such a nice change from fast paced Bitty #1. She will stand on her own for a split second or two if you let go, before sitting and resorting to a crawl.
She is eating 90% tablefood. She loves pretty much anything you put on her tray! And, as of just the other night, she is done with BF. We had it down to 1-2 times mostly at night only, and then she decided she was done. So now she is drinking milk, water, and juice out of a sippy.
She is still my little sleeper. She sleeps 9-11 hours at night and 2-4 hours during the day. Sometimes only 1 nap, and sometimes still 2 naps a day.
She has a total of 5 teeth with at least 2 more close behind. No molars yet, I checked!
She is loving all of her birthday gifts, and so is Bitty #1. Who knew one year old toys were so entertaining?
So here are some pics of the party and guests!

It was an Owl.Bird.Spring.Gardening themed party? I guess it didn't have a specific theme. Maybe Spring themed would be the most appropriate!

11 months

Someone please stop making time go by SO fast. I honestly cannot believe that Bitty #2 is 11 months today. Instead of being excited about planning a party, I am somewhat dreading it. I don't know why....I think it is because I love this age. She interacts so well, is loving, cuddly, and somewhat stationary. (Crawls everywhere, but is not really standing or pulling up, so I consider that, well, easy compared to what is coming) I guess I can wait before she starts talking(back), walking, and giving me attitude. (Much like my soon-to-be 5 year old). This age just doesn't last long enough.
Last I checked she is well over 22lbs, I have no idea about height/or head, but I'm sure both are above 50%.
She has a total of 4 teeth, 2 top and 2 bottom. She eats, and eats, and eats. Lil darlin, I'm not quite sure where she puts it all. She is still napping 3-4 hours a day (HOORAY). I didn't really know what it was to have a napper in the house, but now I do and it is very nice.
Overall, she is a laid back lil babe. Teething, however, tends to make her act more like a bear then a babe, but thankfully it doens't last forever. So heres to cupcakes, party hats & streamers. I guess we'll be having a party soon!

Oh so sweet
or not!

Of course it wouldn't be a complete monthday post without a pouty sister picture

Pics

So here are some belated monthday pics of bitty. We were back to the Dr. this morning because she had more goop in her eyes. Dr. said she has bad sinus congestion and its backing up in her eyes. Ears looked great though! She completed her antibiotic last Friday, so we are starting a new one today. She will probably have all the same issues as Bitty #1 with all the sinus/ear  infections etc. Probably will end up having to do the tubes with her as well....
This weekend was busy/fun/tiring. I guess I started it out tired because of working so much lately. The shower went great and I am trying to get ahold of some pics (my camera battery died...I know, I was so prepared) Ha.
Here are a few pics :)

Here is Bitty #1 being dramatic...how dare it not be all about her?

Happy 3/4 of a year baby girl!

So bitty #2 is 9 months old....
I feel quite sentimental. This year I turn 1/4 of a century. I love being a young mom (most days). I feel like I have the energy to keep up (most days). However, as the days, month, and years pass, I feel growth. I feel like I gain patience, understanding and strength. This helps make me the mom I am today. There is a maturity in handling situations differently, seeking to explain why to my 4 year old and so forth. I wouldn't have done it any way and I am thankful for the 2 little gifts I have in my life. They make me a better person everyday. Now on to some stats!!!

Bitty definitely did some growing :)

9 months
Weight of 19lbs 11oz
Height of 28 1/2 inches

At her age, Bitty #1 was 16lbs 10 oz. 28 1/4 inches.

At her age, I was somewhere around 20-21lbs and 28 inches

Bitty eats and eats and eats!! She is still bf'ing 4 times a day as well as eating baby food and finger food 3 times daily. She loves pretty much anything that is edible at this point. She is rolling, crawling backwards only, and sitting. Seems to be quite content to just do those. Still has the two bottom teeth, and working on at least one of the top ones. It is getting very close to popping through. She is napping 2 times a day for a total of 2-3 hours, and sleeping THROUGH THE NIGHT for 10-11 hours. She is a content baby, loves her toys, sister and  the only word she really says is DA-DA. Recently, she has started clapping and it is too stinkin cute. I love all the baby  milestones.

Check out these new hair duds in the shop

I am working on this lovely Super Bowl weekend. We have another showing on the house, and the weather is still cold. (above zero, but I'm ready for Spring) That pretty much sums up our weekend around here! Hope you all have a great one!
